Prophet Mbonye’s Tent of Glory - A Journey Beyond Human Limits

Several times, you’ve heard the common cliché, “God helps those who help themselves,” probably implying that as God works, you should also take action. While this may seem right when you are full of energy or see a way forward, what happens when there is nothing left for you to do?

What if the doctors say your illness has defeated them and leave you for dead? What if you have applied for jobs at every organisation you know of, but none has hired you? When you feel like you’re hitting a dead end—a wall preventing you from advancing. There is a point where human effort cannot go any further.

Anyone in this situation is left with only one choice: to stop trying to help themselves and let God do things His way.

This is why, in July 2024, Prophet Elvis Mbonye started the Tent of Glory, a special service for experiencing the supernatural. Besides his Tuesday fellowships held at Zoe Grounds, Kigo Lweza, along the Entebbe Express Highway, Uganda at 5:30pm, the Tent of Glory takes place once a month on the last Saturday at 4pm.

For Bible readers, this is likened to the Upper Room, where the disciples of Jesus waited for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. There is no rush in this service—the atmosphere is filled with anticipation of witnessing the supernatural, such as visions, healings, and miracles.
